NeoCon / Design Days '24

Every early summer, I eagerly anticipate heading to downtown Chicago for NeoCon and, in recent years, Design Days. Although the event has become somewhat fragmented, the abundance and quality of things to see remain high.

Not everything at the show directly aligns with the design areas I frequently practice, but I always find a material, curve, pattern, or process that I can incorporate into future projects (or of course a new chair I want to sit in all day).

The show is brief yet vibrant, providing a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow designers from the Chicago area and get into the city during the summer. Here are a few things that caught my attention...
